    There should not be even rounds in boxing period...it has to be scored for 1 fighter or the other.. i hate even rounds..

    I find it funny the narratives in this fight are so ****ing wrong. It's not even funny.

    They say Marquez was passive. Couldn't be further from the truth. He slipped punches in the pocket and didn't run. And landed some flush shots.

    They say Pacquiao was schooled. No, Marquez hardly ever backed Pacquiao up. Pacquiao blocked extremely well in this fight.

    I think even rounds are useful. In this fight I couldn't find any that should have been scored even.

    But in some technical fights where nobody lands anything meaningful at all I think even rounds have use.

    if two fighters fight to a draw then they fight to a draw. It is WHEN we have judges flipping a coin to give it to a certain fighter that we end up with wacky scores and ****ty decisions.

    If you cant have a winner you cant have a winner. but dont make one up

    A few hard stiff jabs sometimes is all you need to have a clear winner in a round thats close....

    I've never seen any media source give either fighter a score higher than 115. The fight was that close.
