I see a high probability of Kovalev getting chinned against Beterbiev

I don't think he has a strong chin. He would definitely smash Vin Diesels cross-eyed, clinching, SOG brother though if they meet.

true. however, it could go the other way also. Beterbiev gets hit too much.and although he has not seemed to have a weak chin, have to wonder how it will hold up against Kovalev's punches.

When did Beterbiev get hit regularly? The page knockdown was a balance issue.

Campillo barely touched him. Ditto Johnson. Ditto Cloud.

He has a tight guard and good ring IQ.

Kovalev I think relies on his strength too much now. He looked more complete earlier on in his career although now he has the confidence of being champion.

I think they will trade and Kovalev will get chinned.

the page knockdown was a combo of being off balance and receiving to forearm pushes to the face

and I also believe beterbiev destroys kovalev and I believe kovalev is one of the best light heavys ever, its just that beterbiev is a monster

people all back kovalev mainly because he beat a 50 year old man and they suddenly think his amazing, before he was a ee hypejob. New flash people he was always amazing its just you never realised it until he smashed your old yanky hero

now betebiev is even better than kovalev but the majority of the fans on here will just go for kovalev based on his beating a 50 year old man and because they know him better, not becase they actually know anything about the fighters haha

I think Kovalev is gonna try to outbox Beterbiev, I don't see him trading punches when he tastes the HW power.

This 50 year old man would have outboxed 98 percent of the Lightheavy weight and supermiddle weight roster though :deal

Most definitely. Kovalev has been knocked down by far lesser punchers before. I could definitely see him getting rocked, but coming back and winning the fight.

its hard to outbox beterbiev. No ones ever done it apart from maybe Uysk. And his a lot bigger than kovalev, and had the advantage of wearing headgear and soft gloves and beterbiev still dropped him

That's because people loose their game plan when they taste that power :deal Though he lost twice but he did hurt Usyk who easily beat best SHWs around.

exactly, kovalev is imo an all time great at lhw but beterbiev is a monster

anyone from 175 downwards has no business in the ring with him

he is the only 175 fighter I see doing very well at 200 pounds

and I one day see him at heavyweight

He definetly hits like a HW and seems like a big LHW, maybe he'll Challenge Usyk for vengeance some day. Usyk beats him anytime though :yep

I said one day, not tomorrow, and adamek was a world title challenger, remember that? beterbiev is way better than him
