I see a high probability of Kovalev getting chinned against Beterbiev

im actually not sure im very high on usyk but I don't know if he could last 12 rounds with beterbiev with no headgaurd and pro gloves

them amateur gloves take away a ridiculous amount of your power

Beterbiev hits like a mule but Usyk throws punches like a machine. And remember Usyk beat some very big guys without headgear.

People are not considering the very real possibility Beterbiev gets stopped. Kovalev has a better team around him and is constantly adding things like a far more educated jab as of late. We have seen Kovalev fight 12 rounds while who really knows how Beterbiev will react when pushed late into a fight.

At this stage I think it is competitve early but Kovalev pulls away and stops Beterviev late.

I am, I've seen him hurt in the amateurs, he was wobble really badly, I forgot who his opponent was, maybe someone (Serge I need your help) can help me out here, but I'm not sure Beterbiev has that a great chin either. Kovalev's power is very very real Beterbiev's real as well, but he didn't take care of Campillo as quickly as Sergey did and that was after he'd been KO'd by Fonfara as well.

he took 1 round more, I never factor in how quickly someone stops a common opponent when theres that little in the difference

Wilder and Hughie Fury stopped Greer in the same round, if there power the same?

iv never seen beterbiev hurt in the amatuers either

I did, he was rocked by a straight left against some Russian guy that never turned pro. I'll try to find it.

Are you talking about this one: At around 8:33

I couldn't embed for some reason.

It looked like a temple shot.
I wouldn't read to much into Kovalev knocking out Campillo a round earlier. Beterbiev knocked him out cold and hurt him with basically the first punch that landed clean on Campillo. Sergey wasn't able to hurt him until the third round.
Wasn't Campillo also having a bad training camp for Sergey? (Not that it mattered imo)

But people have to slow it down with Artur. I'm a fan but he needs more experience. He needs to show me growth as a professional like Sergey has been doing.

I don't think that is what I would call hurt, maybe slightly hurt

the guy was warned for hitting behind the heas seconds earlier and he then took a temple for and another, tied him up and was perfect seconds later, he was back to fighting his usual fight

also that was at 200 pounds as well

It wasn't anything really bad, but without headgear against a fighter with most likely equal power who likes hitting people in the temple, he may be in trouble, don't get me wrong I like Artur but I think Sergey takes it by KO at this point, its too soon to put him in with the Krusher.

tbh getting hit in the temple by a 200 pound man would knock most boxers silly, his recovery skills were impressive though

and I think beteribev man handles kovalev, we will see whos right soon hopefully:good
