this makes no sence, andre berto is a skilled fighter, strong built and speed, you are just saying this because they both have big upper body mass. Thats the only comparison you could find.

Berto ain't all that, gotta agree. World Class but not elite

but there is room for improvement. Although he has a title, he still has some learning to do. Give him a few more Steve Forbes imo

Collazo could be a tough fight for Berto IMO

They are both black and have big upper bodies for their weight. Thats only way they are comparable. They both fight completely different.

Cotto has evolved from a pressure fighter into a excellent boxer that has a tendency to engage his target then regroup before reengaging. If he were to fight Berto, he would probably apply less pressure then Estrada did due to this stylistic evolution. Margarito on the other hand is the definition of pressure and comparing him to Berto isn't very fair to Berto because Margarito is a mismatch for almost all welters and perhaps even some 154lbers.

I'm not suggesting that Berto can beat any welter but I do think he can be competitive with them all to a certain point. And if he were to lose to a Margo or Cotto one day, I doubt it will be a case where people will say he was "exposed". By the time Berto lands a fight with an elite level welter, I tend to believe he will have developed to the stage of an elite level fighter himself.

well see about that, i hope that he at least steps up to that level of fighter in his next fight,, but i just think berto is so easy to counter that zab will take him out with the same punch that rivera put him on ***** street and that is zab best punch,, and till this day for everybody that knoes boxing judah should be rated higher trhan berto bc he has beaten better fighters than berto and yeah he lost all his big fights but still took 5 rds againt floyd and has proven himself at the top level more than berto

Berto is unproven. Until he beats a legit fighter, he will continue to be preceived as unproven.

Berto reminds me of Samuel Peter with better handspeed, his punch output will help him win against most guys, but still he's no Oscar De La Hoya Shane Mosley, Floyf Mayweather, or Roy Jones Jr. in terms of speed.

    Yup.

Berto would destroy Zab - I don't think that would even be a difficult fight for him at all.

I also think he'd destroy Callazo. So many people think Callazo is basically some sort of ATG caliber fighter :patsch, and would kill Berto - but I see Berto in a completely different class and I'm positive he'd win an easy UD.

I just can't see how anyone can watch him fight and not see his talent, and instead think he's vastly overrated and basically a bum (?) :huh

I think he's going to continue to get better and better, and will keep stepping up in competition. We'll see him win some wars in the coming years - and shut some oddly blind haters up with impressive victories.
