Brook is a big guy, undefeated with a very good ring IQ. If the fight goes 12 I can see Brook winning by close decision this fight.

It's all about skills and Brook definitely have a good set of skills. Also we don't know how GGG will deal with that massive pressure and electric atmosphere from O2 Arena.:think

He's a WW fighter who essentially went into a reclusive state after beating Porter in a competitive decision a few years ago. He's decided to stay sequestered in England and fight absolute bums for the last 2 years.

So that somehow makes him a viable candidate to take on the best MW in the world?

I'm not even going to make mention of you ranking him higher than those other MW's, that's just silly talk. What I will say is there are MANY better options for Golovkin from a competitive standpoint, guys that campaign just one division south of him such as Charlo, Lara and even Trout. All 3 of those guys would more than likely beat Brook, and I'd favor Charlo (Jermall) to stop him at some point.

No one can knock Kell for taking this fight so kudos to him. he doesn't deserve it at all; beating one top notch WW doesn't make you the best fighter at 147, let alone someone who could be considered a legitimate opponent to one of the best fighters P4P and easily the best fighter at 160 lbs. SO this falls more on GGG's team. They should've never signed up for this ridiculous fight.

Kell isn't going to see past the 6th or 7th round, and that's probably being a little too generous. There's nothing competitive about this fight and really Gennady has absolutely nothing to gain from it. He's had way too many of these "stay busy" fights for the last 3 years, but at least those previous one sided matchups had him fight guys that were actually in his weight class. Shame on him and his team, this isn't how you build a legacy.

Brook would likely beat Wade. IMHO Monroe, Rubio, Geale all beat him.

Let's see how the fight pans out.

Brook could be better than I'm giving him credit for, but a legit 160 fighter has a lot more weight to him.

Weight does matter ... But I favor Brook over all three. Too much of a talent discrepancy and I don't think the slight size advantage would matter. But then again I rank brooks talent higher than most I suppose.

Time will tell as Brook will be fighting at 154-160 for the next few years

Aghee with the first paht. Best welter in the world after Marquez and not really a welterweight at all. Great all round skill set and great chin. It'll be far harder than some people seem to think

Dont aghee with the second part though - GGG's the kind of fighter that can handle fighting anywhere. And make no mistake - GGG's ****ing popular over here. Outside of the drunken football hooligan element he'll get a warm reception

Welcome to the UK Mr Golovkin

I like UK. I like big fight. I give you big drama show

take away Brook's size and he's a mediocre welterweight at best. mortgage the farm, hock the wife's jewelry & bet it all on Golovkin by KO. this is like clubber lang vs spider rico.

Brook is probably the best boxer Gokovkin has face but would Brook beat everyone on Golovkin's resume? I doubt it with the size disadvantage.

In terms of boxing skills/talent Brook may be the best opponent that GGG is fighting.

In terms of skill, Brook is better than them, but it's not just about skills. You are completely dismissing the physical component of boxing and in that respect they were all probably stronger and sturdier than Brook.
