Lomo didn't get his "ass whooped," you clown.

The fight was judged a SD, and overweight, low blowing throwing Salido was nearly out on his feet in the 12th.

At NO POINT was Lomo in trouble during the fight.

Did you watch the fight ?

First of all, a good many observers scored the bout for Loma, or a draw.

Even if we take it as a narrow defeat, a guy in his second outing hanging with a seasoned champion would be considered pretty good.

And then consider that they were at different weight classes, one came in at 135 and the other at 147.

    Consider the low blows.

Ask yourself who barely crawled across the finish line.

Your example shows nothing, other than if they were to rematch at the proper weight and a ref other than Laurence, Cole, Loma would be the big favorite again.

GGG has yet to fight a top tier fighter. I like this match up, & I think if Jr. can impose his size he can stop him & end all the hype.:bbb

If it's only happened twice in the past 9 or 10 fights, I doubt he's going to do it against someone like Golovkin. Size doesn't mean **** when you don't have the background to be able to utilize it.

I don't think your comparison holds as much water as you think. Let's compare the two:

Loma had stamina issues right off the bat, GGG has no stamina issues. Try again.

Loma has good power, GGG has freakish power. Chavez will be forced to respect GGG's power. Salido wasn't forced to respect Loma's power at all. Try again.

Loma was inexperienced in pro fights. GGG is plenty experienced in pro fights. Try again.

Chavez will have about an 11 to 14 pound weight advantage, around the same as Salido. This argument has some merit, and is a question mark for many people. Fair enough, but consider who GGG works with in the gym. He's very comfort and often fights LHW's and up in training. He's comfortable being leaned upon, pushed into the ropes and bullied by guys with a 20-30lb weight advantage. I doubt Loma was. These same heavier guys wear head and body protection because even with sparring gloves on, GGG can put these big guys down with body shots. Well, we shall see how Chavez uses his size and takes GGG's body attacks. It will be interesting, but don't be fooled into thinking this is Salido v Loma 2.0.
