I see Fury has announced his retirement on twitter..

I don't have much of an opinion regarding him or Wilder, actually. May the best man win...or whoever lands a stray bomb on the other guy's chin first. :yep

They are both circus acts...so I am glad to see them culled. Hopefully whichever circus act gets KTFO will actually retire, while the other is moved one step closer to a title shot and getting KTFO themselves...and then retiring.

 

The thing is though he probably meant it when he tweeted it but may have changed his mind since then or others talked him out of it.

His bouts of depression have been well documented, he's even talked about attempting "Suicide" so maybe getting out of boxing for a couple of years may do him good as his health and family should always come first.

At the least i think the British boxing board of control need to bring him in and make sure he is fit to box and wants to continue boxing rather then being forced into it by greedy family members.

A fighters health should always come first above all else.

 

It's hot air, but honestly, his statement that boxing is ****ing packed with shady people, couldn't be more true. Hell, I wouldn't blame him for being tired of that garbage.

Damn I was hoping for a Fury v Wilder fight. How long will it be before he unretires. My guess is < 6 months.
