Not the same at all, GGG has taken on much bigger punchers than Canelo and has yet to taste the canvas whereas you can be undefeated but only fighting bums (Wilder) and then when you step up wham!... No longer undefeated....(Wilder if he steps up)

Can u name me the elite fighters that Canelo has stopped at 154 please ? Then we can work out how hes going to knock out an elite fighter that has never been dropped at 160 !

The rules are to protect yourself at all times. That's why when Mayweather suckered punched that Mexican boxer Ortiz who was apologizing for having previously fouled Mayweather the ref counted the idiot out. Jack Dempsey did something similar when his opponent turned to the ref to complain about fouls. "what a I supposed to do, send him a letter?" he said during post fight interview. Is Ward familiar with all this? Of course he is. But since he knew that his punch was questionable he stopped.

I respect ggg but theres levels to this

Nelo will only be stronger at 160 as he wont drain to 155

160 will only have him stronger and better stamina

Clutching.... He has decent power at 154 but it will be average at 160 and that won't cut it against GGG...

how many many elite guys have been down in the amateur fights even by bums yet you cant find the same for GGG?

ward himself was rocked badly by greeny and was hurt by paul smith completle gatekeepers and he was also knocked down badly by boone a guy with 30 loses and is feather fisted

Point is you cant find one instance of GGG being badly rocked let alone down which is exceptional because we know even gatekeepers can knock you out if they catch you

In your opinion... GGG has had over 400 fights and honed his way of fighting... So we will see in a few months who is more skilled...

What exactly is this idea based on? The fact that both are Eastern European fighters? Seems as stupid as saying that "I see Anthony Joshua going like Calzaghe, undefeated through his whole career!" Or "I see Canelo going the way of Chavez Jnr, looking out of ideas and disinterested as he cops a hiding every round of his next fight!" If anything it's even more stupid; Golovkin and Kovalev aren't even countrymen. They don't fight the same way, they have different strengths and different weaknesses. Not to mention the differences in Ward and Canelo.

Canelo is the bully. Watching his waiting until Golovkin starts to looks a lot more beatable ass get a a hiding would be great for boxing. We don't need any more divas.

All this resume talk is non sensical. We won't know who will win before they actually fight.
But a little trivia for people who pick Canelo. Can anyone name a fighter from a lower weight class rated p4p lower beat a fighter on a higher weight class rated p4p higher as well?
