    No doubts in my mind

He will figjt soft touches until his career payday comes... Aka tune ups until he gets a payday PPV with Nelo

    Tureano Johnson next... Then Heiland

He might bring Ike Quartey out of retirement

Is Canelo a multi millionaire by now? I wonder how much his net worth is! Am I mistaken in saying his 2 biggest paydays were against Floyd and then Cotto?

Not sure depends on how long Canelo ducks him. If he declines then K2 has Saunders but the ****** wrench is WBO mandating Jacobs vs GGG. So he could do another stay busy fight but I'd hope to see Jacobs vs GGG or Saunders vs GGG.

I'm a big fan of Golovkin and I love how he fights, but after the Wade fight I took another look back at his fight record and it's now starting to get ridiculous.

One legit former or current world champion in his entire fight history - a past his best Geale.

This should not continue to be accepted by the boxing public. The guy is 34 years old and we've not seen him have a single meaningful fight. I don't buy that there are no fighters out there willing to fight him. I just don't think he's trying to be truly great.

Breaking the mw defense record while collecting every meaningful belt will be held in very high regard. Anyone claims otherwise are flat out haters/trolls.

You're going to troll the king of the mw for doing exactly what everyone claims greats need to do. He'll let mw go after tying or breaking the record. Not a worthwhile soul at smw unless jack keeps improving immensely, still ggg would prove to be too many levels above.

One fight there, against the real champ and then off to lhw. He'd be the smallest lhw king ever

Genuinely couldn't care less about the MW defences record - it means nothing if you don't fight any live bodies in the process. If he started this process in his mid 20s you could allow it, but he's not going to be prime forever and we're watching a potentially great fighter knock bums into next week and clapping like seals in the process.

    At SMW: DeGale, Jack, Dirrell
    Fighters at JMW: Lara, Charlo
    At MW: Jacobs, Quillin

I think he'd win against all of them, but at least they're deserving of sharing a ring with them.

I could almost accept **** like Wade if he was one fight in a 3 fight year, but he won't be.

Really doesn't matter if some fan reading this cares or doesn't care about the record. What does matter is if he breaks it. It will be significant to the history of the division. It also puts him in the discussion of ATG at MW and I makes him a lock for the HOF.

The MW division was here and will be here long before and after the made up "Caneloweight" division.

I know shawn its pathetic that they hate a guy who is just doing what boxers should do. Compete in your division against the best possible opponents. Did Golovkin try and get a fight against Froch at 168? And a Chavez jr fight at a catch weight of around 165? So he tried to fight 2 guys above his weight class. But because he wont fight Ward hes a ducking coward. Why did Ward get so upset because Golovkin tried to get a fight with Chavez jr and Froch?:huh

GGG really needs to step his game up. If he doesn't get the fight with Canelo than move on. We all know who ducked who, so theirs no need for him to keep stalling his career for one fight. Folks can't keep making excuses for him. If he's feared at MW then move up in weight, and see if he can put the fear in them as well. Ward is no longer at 168lbs so that's one threat he doesn't have to worry about facing for now.

I want him to go for all the belts and the defense record. Take on Jacobs if it is mandated and then BJS. Wade, Jacob and Billy Joe is a good year. Strip Canelo if he keeps this charade going and just hand belt over.
