Think about it. If you guys were in his position, would you not do the same thing he does? Would you not worry about the cash in your pocket rather than the idea of pleasing boxing fans? For God's sakes he's 80, he's probably trying to make as much money as he can for his family. I mean we can blame him but I think it would be fair to say that if we were in Arum's shoes, we would keep all fights within Top Rank, protect the cash cows in order to maximize profits. It's the business world, there's no reason to be angry at him. P.S I'm not Arum so inb4 "Hello Bob what's up"
Well sometimes the rules of the business world **** the people over, and its readily apparent in boxing. I wouldn't do the same thing.
Bollocks there is no way I would do what he does. I would definately try to make the best fights for the sport I love. No ****ing doubt about it so long as I was making a decent bit of money I'd love to see my sport thriving. **** Arum and no, it's not just easy for me to say that it's what I really believe in!
I don't give a **** about that fat Jew scumbag's interests any more than his senile ass gives a **** about mine, so there is no "but", ya ****ing *****.
I'm not in his position filthy rich and still greedy for more. If I had the opportunity I would never make it to where he is I would give too much back and end up broke like I am now. Make six figure and broke like I make minimum wage.
Arum is simply the best promoter in the world today. He actually promotes and puts up the dough for his fights.:good
We are boxing fans, what Arum does is not good for the sport.Making money for his family doesn't help matching the fights we want to see.
I think Arum is doing his job as a promoter by maximizing profit from his fighters, but as a fan I think he's a greedy ******* who can care less about the fighters he promotes, the fans or what's good for the sport.
