It's going to backfire on his old ass. Let's assume he's doing this for his family and their future and not his greed, by not making the fights the fans want, he's losing fans to mma. Therefore when his son takes over, boxing will have less fans which means less profit. Bob is a smart man, no doubt about that, I'm sure he sees this. He doesn't give a rat's ass about the sport or his family, he's in this for personal greed.

Bob is great until you find how much money he is making out of you, then you try to leave him but he owns you legally only 2 fighters were able to drop him Oscar and Floyd and look how they hate each other.

At least Bob Arum does actually "promote" his fighters i will give him that.

As long as a matchup is eventually made, I couldn't care less about the current state of boxing. Sometimes you need to wait and let it build up. When the stars align, it makes for awesome fights. Like Cotto/Margarito 1, Manny/Marquez 3, don't forget Bradley vs Alexander was a highly anticipated fight at the time, Khan vs Maidana was a anticipated fight at the time, Haye vs Wlad eventually happend. I personally am ok with the structure of boxing. The odd guy ducks another fighter, well then call him out for it and say "you are a coward, and I will not pay to watch you fight some lower level fraud in a replacement fight." I'm willing to bet a lot of the fans that wanted Haye to fight Wlad still shelled out money to watch him fight Harrison.

Ducking and mismatches are not as big of a problem as people make it out to be. This weekend we have a really good fight going down so enjoy the action, learn to like other fighters and don't pay so much attention to the 2 fighters that this thread is probably about. Pac and May are not bigger then the sport, still tons of good fights out there.

He's an old white man, so anything he says or does is justified, and should not be questioned.
