Maybe in floyds case it isnt as relevant but I do honestly believe that hard work from a young age can get you very far.
Unlike Roy Jones, Mayweather does have skill, and he's still works hard at learning. I think Floyd is physically harder than Roy, more sturdy. Floyd hasn't been badly punished in a fight yet. The only thing that could keep Floyd from fighting at the highest level well into his forties is his chronic hand problem. Other than that, he carefully chooses fights, and fights exactly when he's ready. He'll stay fresh for a while at this rate.
I'm absolutely, totally convinced this isn't the case at all. The IRS issues, and stories of unpaid bills etc, seem to show otherwise. I predict real cash issues in the next 5-10 years for him.
As long as his fans keep supporting him, this is possible. I think his fans have no problem with him constantly retiring and come back to fight once or twice. He can keep doing this and probably doesn't take too much toll on his body.
Not sure exactly. he claimed he knew how to hit the speed bag by the time he was 4. I saw this somewhere in a video.
he will not throught choice because of the money he spend it like there no tomorrow and lets face it his mayweather promotions isnt going to be abig hit like he thought i see him fighting and getting beat by bums because he has to
Where are you guys getting the notion that he has made investments and is going to be all right? All signs point to a "Where are they now?" episode. Has he really showed signs of being smart with his money? I would love to see an example if anyone has something.
