I see no way margarito beats floyd mayweather

Of course he'll land a clean punch. I am aware of how great Floyd's defense is (was better when lighter), but it's ridiculous to think Margarito won't land any thing clean. He HAS been hit and CAN be hit.

It's not just being aggressive, it's hitting him anywhere and everywhere. Mayweather's shoulder roll isn't going to be as effective against a body attack BTW.

But no, it would NOT be like DLh vs. Mayweather. DLH doesn't have much stamina after 8 rounds. He gave up on his jab when it was working because he too ran out of gas. He went too many peroid where he didn't even throw. Margarito won't run out of gas, nor will he give Mayweather the room to operate like DLH did. Pressure is not Mayweather's friend.

Sure, Mayweather can play defense all nioght, but you need offense if you want to win.

Stamina, power, chin, and heart. I consider that all skill. Running aint the only skill in boxing.

yes there would be a clean punch from margo but he wouldn't hurt floyd like cotto as floyd has already a proven chin unlike cotto who had a questionable chin prior to the fight.

btw, what about if mayweather employs clinching, surely he and his team can work on different strategies while reviewing the tapes, margo on the other hand has only one style to give.

 

Floyd might not have a great chin also. He keeps turning his back so nothing clean lands. Cant say he has a better chin then Cotto.

 

His chin won't matter when his ribs are getting beaten. And remember what I said about his shoulder roll defense. Not too effective against a body attack. In fact, the way Floyd turns his body when using it might open his body more.

If they do then they do. But do you think Mayweather is going to learn anything new at this point in his career? What WOULD he learn? You can say Margarito only has one style to give, but so does Mayweather. As a matter of fact, most boxers do.
