I see no way margarito beats floyd mayweather

Margarito, Cotto, and Shane Mosley. Offered a fight with Margarito but he turned the other way. Asked about Cotto he said "I aint gonna let boxing retire me I am gonna retire from boxing". Asked about Mosley he said " he is just a sparring partner". Need anymore proof???

 

But Mayweather has offered all 3 of those guys fights sometime in his career.

Shane had a bad tooth, wanted to spend time with his family, he wanted to take a vacation. I can totally respect Shane for wanting to get his tooth fixed, wanting to take a vacation, and wanting to be a family man, I can definetely respect that decision. But when he decided that he was ready to fight PBF, PBF wasn't interested because he had better plans. Can you blame PBF? Last time I checked, PBF had a bigger fan base, was rated as a better fighter, was P4P #1, and brought way more money to the table. Therefore, PBF calls the shots, not Shane. So what gives Shane the right to call the shots and decide when he wants to fight PBF? Shane didn't take the opportunity when it was on the table, so hos opportunity is gone. He should've took the opportunity then. PBF isn't on Shanes schedule, Shane is on PBF's schedule now. PBF is the shot caller, not Shane.

And once again, I think PBF beats Shane by UD 9-3.

 

Shane has way faster hands then Floyd. I can see him getting a decision vs. Floyd. Shane still wanted to fight him though. Also explain to me Margarito and Cotto situation. It was clear they both wanted fights with him.

 

Cotto was offered a figth against PBF, but Cottos team agreed that Cotto needed another 12-18 months to be ready for PBF. Til this day, Cotto hasn't officially called out PBF.

And I see PBF beating Cotto 10-2 UD, possibly by KO.

 

Cotto vs. Mosely showed that Cotto's speed was not far behind Moselys. While still being world class, Mosely is not the speed demon he was. Floyd is way way way faster then Cotto, therefore Floyd must be somewhat faster then Mosely. Its mathematics, son.

 

Thank you. Its only obvious. Shane isn't the fighter he once was. His body has slowed down. But I think a prime Shane vs PBF is one helluva match up

 

Yeah, that's why Void refuses to fight Margarito. Margarito knocks out Void.

 

Cotto is not the type of fighter to call people out. His promoter was calling Floyd out but Floyd didnt do anything. Margarito called Floyd out to his face but nothing happen as usual.

 

A younger Mosley will give Floyd problems. I am not talking about the one who faced Mosley. Also Cotto has a great jab and that will help him with guys with faster hands.

 

As far as Margarito, PBF fought Baldomir for a few reasons.

If he would've picked Margarito, ppl would've said he ducked Baldomir and would've said that he's not the best in the division if he hasn't beat the champ. If he wouldn't have won the title, he wouldn't have been considered the best welter alive. & like I said, alot of ppl would have said he ducked Baldomir, because almost everyone felt that Baldomir was a better fight than Margarito. & even after PBF defeated Baldomir, the rumors saying he ducked Margo didnt start. Those rumors started when Margo became known as the most feared man in boxing. So it was like a year after the PBF vs Baldomir fight when ppl started saying he ducked Margo.

Margarito hadn't done enough to even deserve a shot at Floyd. He didn't beat many quality. known opponents.

Lots of ppl didn't even know who Margarito was, lots of ppl didn't.

PBF fighting Margo offered way more. More money in revenue from HBO, the official title at 147lbs, the ability to say he was the champ at 147lbs, defeating Baldomir lead to a fight against Oscar DLH, & having that 147lb belt helped make him more money in his other fights.

Lots of reasons why Floyd made a good decision to fight Baldomir.

 

Baldomir better than Margarito? Dont think so, if every fighter had that mentality, who have you beat to deserve me?, nobody will get their just do. Mayweather should of fought Margarito after that fight instead he choose to fight Judah who was coming off a loss. Fact is he said he will give him a shot and he never gave him his fight.

 

If he would've continued fighting, I'm sure he would've offered him a fight. But Margo hadn't earned the right to fight him yet, thats the point.

 

I am saying if fighters had that mentality "who have you beat to fight me" some fighters wont get their just do. Like let say Castillo, Chavez, Corrales, and Baldomir had that mentality. Floyd wouldnt have been the best in the weight class or pound for pound king. Do you get it now???

 

I get what you're saying, and thats what made PBF different from those guys and almost all fighters. PBF loves money, and he was making the best business moves. I see what you're saying, but PBF is different from all those other guys.

 

How? Do those guys actual fight who ever they put in front of them?
