PBF wanted to stand out from the rest. He was smart, he knew he could make alot of money and he knew that he had alot of power in the sport. Just like Pavlik & Cotto & Margarito should be making outrageous money, he knew what he brought to the table. He was just too smart.

Call it what you want, I bet almost every boxer to ever fight wish they could have Mayweather's career.

The first seven rounds would be like the Mayweather-Baldimir fight. But, the fight would end just like the Margarito-Cotto fight.

Mayweather is a clever fighter. He knew he wouldnt be able to KO Baldomir in the first round and he got on his bike for the remaining 12 rounds.Mayweather is quick on his toes and is very comfortable fighting in reverse,he adjusts quickly to any situation and would have won 12 rounds against Margarito.

i'm not pro mayweather but you can't see past a mayweather ud or margarito ko and I don't think Margarito would be able to actually get enough time to ko floyd, floyds reflexes and foot and and speed is too quick for somebody like AM and its the only case where AM wouldn't be able to slow floyd down with body punches cause we all saw DLH landing clean body combinations all night and it did nothing to Floyd from the looks of it

Yeah I think PBF would win an easy UD. PBF is not as fragile as some people think. His conditioning and stamina is always in top form. Just like the Hatton fight when Hattons corner seriously underestimated his stamina.

PBF can counter and move and run from Margo all night. Cotto outboxed Margo well but took too many bodyshots and he used to much energy throwing hard powershots trying to get a KO. PBF wouldnt throw as hard, saving more energy and also his defense allows him to slip alot more bodyshots than Cotto could.

PBF would also tie Margarito up on the inside ...

That is a good point too, PBF can fight and counter well while moving backwards (which he will be all night against Margo)

Cotto generally fights better moving forward than backwards.

Well Fraudweather retired so you are right Margarito cant beat him. Cause floyd pulled up his skirt and headed for the hills.

Thats the way I see things going down aswell but never say never, Margaritos power & pressure could tell late on but he`d have to get to Floyd much sooner than he got to Cotto.
He really had a good rd v Cotto to turn the tide in rd 7, that would be far too late vs Floyd, Floyd would likely have 6 rds he bag by then.
Tough fight for both men but I THINK Floyd wins but I PRAY Margatito wins.

    :thumbsup

Wrong, wrong and wrong! Cotto is stronger and better offensively than Mayweather. And Cotto is a nifty boxer. He simply couldn't handle Margarito's pressure. BTW, Margarito has an excellent skill set that compliments his forward moving style. His defense is underrated.

Margarito would break down lil Floyd in similarly brutal fashion. Why don't you think Mayweather will never share the ring with the TJ Tornado. He KNOWS the outcome would go very badly for him.:smoke:smoke
