I see NO WAY Mayweather can KO or STOP Maidana...

I think it's a wide decision for Mayweather, maybe Maidana wins a round or 2.

But it's not like Maidana is iron-chinned or takes body shots like Muhammad Ali. It wouldn't really surprise me if he were stopped (most likely accumulation).

Maidana has a suspect chin, is extremely slow, basic, and average, it's a big mismatch, Mayweather will land every **** he throws, maidana will miss with every **** he throws. Mayweathers best chance of a stoppage win, I think he'll stop him

I've got a weird hunch that Maidana is going to shock the world and get the upset it makes sense to me that Mayweather thinks he's getting a lesser opponent than Khan.
These things tend to come back and haunt you, people voted for khan and he declines and goes with maidana which is also less money than khan... hmm
I am certainly going to place a sneaky bet on Maidana via tko I am convinced Floyd thinks he is getting a lesser risk opponent in Maidana than Khan and it will be his undoing, finally.

There's a small chance of a stoppage because Maidana's chin is not as good as the guys he's fought lately and Mayweather can hit when he sits down. I've seen him rock a lot of fighters with sturdy jaws, he just isn't a finisher and doesn't fight to go for the kill. Every fighter he faced says his shots sting, that's also due to accuracy.

Likely a decision. I wouldn't be surprised to see some KDs though and Maidana is soft to the body. Josesito stunned Maidana.

The only way I can see a stoppage is if Maidana's getting damaged badly from lots of accurate shots and KD'd and they call it, but most likely they will not. A straight KO won't happen.

Floyd will not take the risk in ko'ing Maidana, unless both of Maidana's eyes are swelled shut. He'll then hit him after the bell or a break and his ref will stop it.

Maidana will not be able to get close to Floyd, and won't be allowed to land certain punches without being deducted points or DQ'ed. Body punches will be illegal as well as uppercuts. straight rights and left hooks.

 

Well Maidana was in real trouble late vs Broner. There was that controversy with Ariza possibly giving him something in the corner. I'm no ***** and unlike them I won't spin. It looked to me like Broner was mounting a potential comeback. My point is that we have seen Maidana vulnerable even in his dominant performance against Broner. We have certainly seen him vulnerable in other fights.

If Floyd gets things going his way early I believe a KO is possible. Likely? Not likely. Most likely result is a 12 - 0 similar to how Devon beat him. Hell, you can argue Morales, an old 2011 Morales, beat Maidana. And that Broner whose name was made at 130 and 135 (and lost to Ponce), just is way out of his league with the top of 147, Paulie gave him all kinds of trouble.

I'll be rooting for Maidana to land an incredible awkward bomb and he just might do it but I'm not saying he will. To say there is no way Floyd can stop Maidana is not true. Maidana can get hurt, Maidana can get TIRED and SUDDENLY DEFENSELESS, Floyd can take advantage of those situations and even though Floyd fights very carefully I think if Maidana was out of gas and stunned Floyd would try and finish him.
