Everybody is just mad that this wasn't a back and forth war which is what everybody deserved to see. Blame the matchmakers.

I for one loved the way Narvaez fought. He had zero chance of winning. Blame corrupt officiating. Lets be honest, he was the smaller guy who wasnt a big puncher to begin with. Forget winning by knockout. And it was too risky to go balls out to win more rounds when you KNOW he wsnt going to get credit for any of it. The proof is in the pudding: He clearly won rounds 2, 3, 7 and 12. Yet leddermann and the judges scored it a shutout. Im glad he didnt risk his neck for this bull****, everybody just wants to see him get ****ed up, but you dont know what its like to be in there fighting a BIGGER dude with all odds against you. Good for him.

If you want somebody who knows what there talking about to back up what Im saying, rewatch the part in the later rounds, I think it was late in the tenth round where Roy Jones was responding to Kellerman and Papa discrediting Narvaez's performance. He was literally pissed off at them being pissed off.

    Flame away. :hat

Narvaez did what he could with the ability he had. He had no chance of opening up without getting KTFO

If he had no chance to begin with, why take the fight? He is undefeated FFS! IMHO the way he fought shames those he defeated.

Maybe the Top Rank payday he received was higher than all of his career payday total.

Your obviously a kid who doesnt know any better, but let me explain it to you anyways for sport.

Your 35, you get offered a once in a lifetime payday far more than what you ever made or will make if you turn it down, you get exposure on an HBO main event, and your saying just because he didnt think he could have won, he should have rejected this once in a lifetime money and exposure.

    That defies logic.

Agreed. He won at best 3 maybe 4 rounds, but managed to go the distance against a p4p top 5 fighter who pretty much had every single advatange on him, minus the experience and was expected to spark him right out in some highlight reel type KO...but he came and went the distance and made him look not so spectacular.

You're obviously an idiot. He didn't win ANY rounds and he barely tried to. He took the money then refused to fight, turned it into a sparring session. He ripped off the promoters and every fan who paid good money to get in to see him. He's a nobody in the US, and he's going to stay that way.

He has no heart, no balls, and he needs to gtfo of the US, we don't play that **** here.

Once in a lifetime payday and you still need a ****ing exposure?
If he wants exposure he wouldn't be showing that kind of fight.

    Now that defies your logic.

There is a reason why Martinez is going after Pac and Gayweather. It is the same reason why Marvaez took the Donaire fight.

No flames from me. This is spot on. And yes, about winning rounds, too.

You dont know **** about boxing if you think he didnt win any rounds. Even Kellerman gave him the second round. And furthermore if you think an undefeated, two division champion with 16 title defenses has not heart and no balls, you shouldnt even talk or watch boxing.

Well if he didn't take the offer, what makes you think theyd give him another offer at his age and weight division? You take what you can get, Duh!

Roy Jones repeatedly stated that Narvaez was there to show his boxing skill against a bigger top 5 p4p fighter and was faithful he would be back in America with fights IN HIS OWN weightclass. Jones also sympathized with him, knowing what its like to actually be a fighter, not somebody sitting behind their keyboards/announcing tables, pretending to know what being tough is.

You guys make me giggle! :rofl

I had Narvaez winning 1 maybe 2 rounds at best. To win rounds I am in the understanding that you need throw punches, something that Narvaez did not do. To say he won more than 2 rounds is silly.

narvaez is a disgrace, his purse should be withheld

he quite possibly put a tonne of money on donaire to win on points, there should be sanctions for when a fighter does not come to win
