I see people are already discrediting Loma’s win over Rigo...

Yeah hokay. Physics changes based on your opponent according to nuthuggers. F = M*A (unless it's against <INSERT OPPONENT HERE>).

I will bet any money that Wlad could KO Manny, Loma, Rigo, Floyd with just a stiff jab over the course of a fight. He's already done it against a HW. He wouldn't be using his size advantage at all.

LOL, and Mayweather had to resort to brawling against a guy who had never been in the ring before.

He did, but Loma's excellent footwork allowed him to close the distance much faster than Rigo's previous opponents.

People forgot that Lomachenko is a southpaw like Rigo, which means they're more squared up against each other, making defensive movement slightly harder.

Ah, I forgot that punching power was the reason Rigo quit... Oh, wait even he said, that size didn't make a difference and that Loma couldn't hurt him.

Even Loma admitted the fight wasn't worth all too much, pretty much worthless. Fighting a 37 year old, someone who has never even fought at 126, never mind 130 LMFAO.

Like I said, if it were any other opponent not named Rigo people would have just given him crap and saying that he was avoiding Rigo like the plague. I remember when people expected Rigo to counter the crap out of Loma, break his jaw, not get touched, and KO him to the body. I also remember seeing people claiming he was the much superior boxer with better KO power. There was no way that Loma was not going to have to fight a fellow olympic gold medalist.
Be careful what you wish for.

Of course it effects the fight. If the sizes were something else, it would be a different fight. That was my point.

Fighters exist in the physical world with physical bodies. Size is always a factor.
It's not like there's a purely spritual dimension of "skill boxing" where physical bodies of fighters and physical dimensions are not a factor.

Also, Lomachenko is a great fighter but it does a disservice to all accomplished 130-pounders to imply that Rigondeaux at 130 is as valid as he's always been at 122.
Rigondeaux isn't well proven against fighters of Lomachenko's size, and it's right to acknowledge that.

None of this changes the fact that Lomachenko performed brilliantly, again.

I'm one of those few people who doesn't really give a crap about Loma's loss to Salido. Yes he was f#cked over badly but that's part of the game and Salido did everything he could to win. He won fair and square. And I'm happy that Lomachenko had a taste of the pro game and losing in the process. That loss only made Loma even better and ultimately changed his mindset on how to improve more. He didn't need to hide behind a 0. He just kept improving while Salido continues to get the crap beaten out of him to the point of retirement. Salido may have beaten Loma but Salido knows that he won't even be a challenge for Loma at this point, which was why he chose to leave to save himself the humiliation.

Loma gets his credit for Rigo's scalp.

But, this was the worse Rigo I've ever seen and it was NOT because of Loma. I can't give him credit for taking away Rigo's weapons, because he didn't really do anything to take away Rigo's tools. The man just appeared in the ring vs Loma was dead in there.

Still, it's not Loma's fault that Rigo was a mess in the ring on fight night. Loma gets the win and the credit and belongs in the top 10 p4p list.

If Bud held him to 2.5 punches landed per round or 8 percent landed, it'd be a phenomenal accomplishment!

Bigger fighters fight great small ones and can't replicate something like that

Let me ask you something. How many fighters get full credit for fighting a 37 year old that is moving up 2 weight classes to fight you while you're prime? Not to mention that small guys like Rigo age faster than the bigger fighters they're usually done by 32, hell most earlier than that. Rigo fighting at 37 at 122 is unheard of. Rigo isn't Loma's best win anyway that was Russell Jr he was prime unlike Rigo and wasn't moving up 2 weights to face him and actually showed up to win

It was one complaint but nowhere near as big a factor as Salido being allowed to pretty much ignore the rules of boxing to 'introduce Lomachenko to the pros'.
