I see Sergey Krusher Kovalev schooling Ward from the get go, landing the jab at will....

Eventually leading to a one sided boxing lesson, Ward gets dropped early by Krusher due to being quicker on the trigger, similar to the Hopkins fight.

Kovalev will respectfully allow Ward to last the distance, getting in the rounds to prepare him for tougher test down the road such as the reinvigorated Nathan Cleverly in a rematch and the soon to move up Gennady Golovkin, and he retains the LHW championship.

    DISCUSS.

Kovalev's jab is way above anything Ward has face. He has long arms and it will be difficult for Ward to gage disctance against Kovalev.

Well shows what you know, he just be Brahmer to become the regular champion and mandatory challenger for Sergey's super title.

I suggest you scrub up on your knowledge before entering this thread again sunshine.

Not completely out of the realm of possibility, but almost.

    A "one-sided-boxing-lesson"?

    You're trolling maybe? :confundio1:

You're going to be in for a rude awakening. Ward is one of the best Boxers on the planet and probably the most difficult to outbox right now. If Kovalev tries to beat Ward in a boxing match, he will get shut down early. His best bet is to try to counter Ward coming in with something heavy in hopes of getting a knockout.

Squeaked by? He beat Brahmer up until he quit on his stool. Same was going to happen to Ward, that's why he choose Brand when Cleverly had already agreed to fight him.

Absolutely not. That fight was tit 4 tat until the injury occured. Braehmer beats him in a rematch. And Ward gets the stoppage as he laughs at those weak pitty patty shots.

Yeah "the injury", that when medically examined to treatment was needed.

He quit like a ***** when he was starting to gas because Clev's pace was too much to handle.

Regardless. It was close, and Braehmer gets him in the rematch. Cleverly has no shot against Ward..NONE.

Braehmer won't even take the rematch, him getting older his hardly going to help his ability to keep up with Cleverly, and if in the unlikely event he does take the rematch, and the unlikely event he doesn't quit this time, Clev dominates him over the 2nd half of the fight.

It's a similar dynamic to Calzaghe-Hopkins, but unlikely Hopkins who looks for ways out faking injuries, Braehmer actually takes them.

I disagree. Clev leaves his chin out there to be hit and though he has a high workrate, he can't break an egg. In the likely case the rematch happens, Clev will tire out the same way he was starting to midway through the fight, and Braehmer lands something big on a opened Chinned Clev and forces a stoppage late. Braehmer just needs to be more conservative this time.
