    No kidding. While the word "fraud" is sometimes used too liberally, in this case it fits. If he wasn't Lou Duva's pet project, nobody would've ever heard of Marrone.

    Oh, and I doubt moving down to cruiserweight would help much. A cruiserweight almost knocked him out at HW!!!:lol:

    I saw him awhile back, he was only had 6-0 record then. He looked lousy. Fought tentative and no real physical talent

    The people here where he trains told me Duva was overhyping the guy that he wasnt that talented at all and then when I saw him against the former cruiser on ESPN I knew they were right.

    The fight was a terrible stoppage, though I still don't think that Marrone is any kind of a great fighter.

    Seen him a while back but then didnt he go inactive for about 15 months or something like that?

    Havent seen his loss, although agree with the consensus that its no great surprise
