I just think you are showing Cotto no respect. Don't get me wrong, Floyd Mayweather is the most talented fighter in the game right now. No doubt about that. I just think Cotto is the best competition he has seen in years. DLH is no slouch, but past his prime. Baldomir is a nobody. Judah is talented but flawed in many ways. Hatton is overrated.

It is going to be tough for him to beat Cotto. Cotto has evolved, he is a multi-dimesional fighter. If anything, I think Mayweather slips by on a close decision ala the first Castillo fight.

I know Floyd is undefeated.. He may have not came real close to losing a fight.. Now you say what fighters am I talking about? Now thats it.. To me, Cotto has faced more top contenders than PBF has.. Main reason I want to see this fight is so Cotto can prove that Floyd is NOT the best WW.. How can you say Cotto is not even in the same class as Floyd? We can do this all day.. Going back and forth on who is gonna' win.. I as well as most of the other people who has posted in this thread has pretty much proved their point.. You can go ahead and argue all day about how Floyd will destroy Cotto and how Cotto is no match for Floyd.. But I'm done with this thread.. We can conversate again about this after the match...

I respect all boxers ... me not showing respect would be to say that I could kick Cotto's ass or something.

Cotto might be this and he might be that ... they two will fight and he'll get the chance to prove all that ... I hope you're still a fan after the fight.

I'm not going to pick Cotto to win ... I don't give a **** if he knocked out Kelly Pavlik in sparring.

What fighters that weren't on Cotto's level gave Floyd problems in a fight?

I don't care about Cotto's resume or if he's the stiffest competition out there for Floyd ... this guy has proved himself every year and hasn't disappointed me yet.

I would love to see him hook up with Cotto not because of him being a legit threat (because he aint) but simply because it would be a good boxing match - for however long it lasts.

Don't think that a guy that is constantly getting hurt, never took a major step up in comp, and takes alot of punches is going to hurt, knockdown, or knockout a fighter that has never been before.

Oh, I will be a fan. I was just saying that I think it's going to be a tough fight for both of them. Cotto won't get stopped, I think Mayweather respects Cotto too much and won't take too many chances. At the end of the day, my money is on Mayweather. No pun intended.

The pressure is on sooner or later all distractions will evaporate (WWF,ODH,etc) the promoters will run out of options and excuses and finally we will see the two undefeated fighters the question is when I think time is on Cotto's favor Floyd is not a spring chicken and the youn lion could wait both knows their destiny is to meet in the ring and are not in a hurry to make us happy.

 You Floyd boys are all the same. You saw him on MTV cribs and have been a 'boxing fan' since.
Regardless of what Cotto's done, he's still a great fighter and would never sell out like Pretty Girl Gayweather.... and fight BIGSHOW IN THE WWE for ****s sake.

Fitz, Cotto is not "prone to getting cut"

the man gets cut like 2 times in his career and all of a sudden he is prone to getting cut.

Well Margarito would have beaten him first but Mosley ducked him. And beating Judah proves what? Wo else has beat Judah, oh yeah, stinks, Baldomir and arguably journey man pineda.

I'm not saying Cotto would beat Mayweather, but the fight really needs to happen and happen soon. Cotto-Mayweather is a real boxing fans dream come true. The fans get nothing out of the Mayweather-De La Hoya II fight. Forget about who calls who out, the 2 best fighters in each others respective weight class's needs to get it on.

That's right genius . . . Cotto has no chance against PBF. And that's coming from a Cotto hater. Then how do you figure out PBF not even mentioning Cotto's name? :D

How the **** can you pick Gomez to upset the guy ??? :-(
