I think Mayweather probably beats Cotto but it will surely be his hardest fight, and Cotto is just improving and looking better fight after fight and looking way more smarter, better defensive skills as he has gone along and now more power and a better chin, after he beats Maragrito, there will be no one to face but Mayweather, and it maybe a mistake from Mayweather to keep on putting Cotto hold like this.

Exactly! I don't care if Cotto gets beaten up black and blue . . . point is he is the rightful challenger and the champ should defend his title against the number challenger. That's all there is to it.

Other than that I don't really care much who wins.

I can clearly see how an impressive Cotto victory (even if it is against a fighter like Gomez) makes you Mayweather Nutthuggers sick to your stomach, I guess you all won't realize or admit that Cotto is the TRUTH until he lays your GOD Mayweather out, if he ever decides to step in the ring with a REAL Champ. Don't get me wrong, Mayweather is great, but right now, at this moment his stock as a boxer is plummeting while Cotto's is going through the roof. If he wants the respect of real boxing fans than he needs to step in the ring with Cotto, he doesn't even have to win, just step in the ring with the man and compete, that's all we are basically asking of "money hungry" Mayweather who is not thinking about his long term legacy in the sport after he retires, instead he's too caught up in short term monetary success, which is all good, but it's not what LEGENDS are made of.

LMAO up and comer??? Your hatred for Cotto is blinding you, the man sports a record of 32-0 with 26 KO's and has successfully defended his title 4 times (3 by KO) against WELTERWEIGHTS, for god's sake the man is a top 5 P4P fighter, how can you call him an "up and comer", he's already there!

Picking Gomez over Cotto shows how much you know about boxing. Some of your arguments are plain embarrassing and that's on the real.
