I see Ward is ducking the big boys again...

    Ward is lineal champ. GGG isn't. Needs Cotto.

    Ward cleaned out SMW. GGG hasn't. Needs Lee, IBF champ & Cotto. Potentially Quillin too if he wants to claim "clean up".

    So no, it's not the same thing, and yes, it's perfectly ok to want Golovkin to get those checks in the box at MW while Ward has nothing more to prove at SMW - only that he has a desire to fight at LHW which he did in the ams... and I don't see it yet.

    Would like to see GGG move up but that doesn't change the fact that there isn't any real good fights at 168 lbs for Ward and he should also move up.

    Froch fight won't happen, Durrell and Ward likely won't happen etc.

    just a waste of time for a 33 year old fighter who has a resume that reads "nothing"....cotto fight is a waste of time...guy is a welter...and hell never get that fight anway....

    the quillin fight could be near impossible with hbo/haymon factor......i dont think youll find many who would disagree with saying we already know ggg is the man at mw....those fights dont need to happen really....

    ggg has been fighting ****ty opponents his whole career....at least ward has a resume...whens ggg gonna put an end to that?

    lemme guess "when cotto stops ducking him"...lol...when a welterweight stops ducking a career mw? lol

    Fighting the lineal MW champ is a waste of time? Then why did Cotto want the belt in the first place? He needs to put up or shut up. Being "the man" means nothing 20 years from now, GGG needs the lineal crown.

    Can't defend this sh|t.

    Ward's been out of action for almost two years. Of course he's not going straight to the top fighters.

    Kovalev is the absolute LAST fighter you wanna face when you're rusty.

    Ward needs to move up to 175 and fight Kovalev. Same network so there would be no issues making the fight.

    Froch has fought better opposition.

    And for someone ranked as arguably the best SMW ever, his resume is thin. Besides, Dawson was brought down a class.
