I see why Pavlik is holding on to those belts

Pavlik will not be able to make 160 in a healthy fashion by the time the bulk of these guys are seasoned to fight for a title. And he's not going to amount to much at 168 unless those guys all leave for 175 after the tournament.

There's no question that KP is a good MW champion, but he also has been fortunate not to be exposed to slick boxers. His big wins are Miranda and Taylor, two guys who are notoriously easy to hit and KO. I give him all credit in those fights, but the only guy he's faced at the A level to give him movement was Hopkins. ...

Bute would be a clear favorite over Pavlik, and Froch would be a close fight. Kessler would have been a clear favorite over him but maybe not now, and Abraham would be a good fight though I'd favor KP. But Ward would beat him easily, and Direll probably would too.

Pavlik would cut Froch in half. The man is just way too easy to hit. I can't see Pavlik beating Ward or Bute. Kessler's in a sorry state at the moment compared to how he was e.g. vs. Andrade; he's much easier to find and I can't see him holding up to Pavlik at this stage. Abraham would be a good fight, but I'd probably give the edge to Pavlik's consistent pressure. Dirrell is a bit too green at this stage to make a call.

I don't like the odds overall, though, and I think 160 is best for KP if he can comfortably make it for a good while to come.

that's pulling out. the fight was set for december 5th and pavlik cancelled...plain & simple. and it was the 2nd time he did it. now you gonna try and act like paul is scared if he chooses not to fight him?...you're a clown.

I hear what you're saying and think it's true for N'jikam, who fights out of ****ing France lol

    - Korobov is top rank as you said.

    - Golovkin is rated #1 in both Org's that Pavlik has belts in.

-There is talk of Macklin and Pirog fighting and the winner getting Pavlik.

    - Jacobs is an American with alot of hype/promotion behind him (undeserved i feel but in terms of getting him a shot...)

So most of the young talent facing Pavlik is very real when looking at it, don't you think?
