would love to see this fight i think it would be close and give the edge to froch, size, experience, better resume, fighting at the weightclass all his career etc etc will froch take the fight remains to be seen. i think if ggg wins his next few fights and froch beats chavez jr, we could see this fight in 2015 and by then enough hype will have been raised that it would be very lucrative as well. all in all i see it as a very entertaining, competitive fight.

You could just watch both guys fights and make your pick based off of what you see.
You'd rather be a dip**** though. Good luck with that.

But, but, but.... Froch fans won't stop discrediting GGG no matter what you show them. It's just what majority of people are - too stubborn to accept other points of view and even facts

I'm far from a fanboy and if u check my prev posts ul see that

My opinion of GGG is based on facts, performances and opinions of learned journalists, I have forged my opinion on solid information not stupid threads by trolls on this forum....

Either way this debate with GGG will not go away until there is a fighter who actually has the swingers between his legs to fight him..... Fighters reluctance to fight him should outline his quality....

This reluctance was also there during the amateurs where anyone who was anyone was scared to fight him and feared drawing I'm in tournaments

I'd bet my account activity Froch will not fight him, and why would a proud warrior like Carl even joke about going nowhere near him if he wasn't serious?

And btw I'm a huge Froch fan, I've been a fan from the days of him beating Magee late on and when he could only get coverage late night on the BBC, and I also travelled from Belfast to Wembley for the Groves rematch :bbb

    I'm no fan boi

GGG's best win is... wait for it.......

    it's coming.......

    Matthew Macklin.

Until he fights someone, he's unproven. Much like Bute, Broner, Linares, Cleverley, Rios, Chavez Jr etc... They all failed miserably...

I'd favor Froch to win but I've got no idea what would happen. Golovkin might get KO'd in 1, Golovkin might KO Froch in 1, could go the distance and be an absolute war.... The problem is just Golovkin hasn't fought anyone so there's no gauge of how good he is. Lets see how he does against Geale for a start, then stick him in with some of the other big names at 160 or a step up fight at 168, someone like Bika, Dirrell, Kessler, Abraham, Stieglitz, f****** anyone!!!!!!

I remember before the fight Macklin was Golovkin's "first real test" and a "legit MW". Destroys Macklin in 3 rounds, more impressively than Martinez and because Macklin was scared to death(with good reason), people want to **** on that win.:rofl
"Who he beat?" "He ain't fite nobody!!!!1111!!!!" "Muh Resume!"

Anybody who would pick Bute, I mean GGG to win against Froch has rocks for brains.
Let's see, Froch has faced and won against almost all of the elites in the SMW division and only lost against the better and proven boxers like Kessler, Ward and although he received the benefit of English referee'ing, Dirrell. Froch has beaten good fighters like Pascal, Taylor and Bute.

Now GGG. uh, who has he fought again?

Golovkin was extremely winded in the Bute match granted he Ko'd Bute, but he didn't like the pressure being put on him in that fight.
That was a long time ago so I'm sure his stamina has improved but if Bute could start wearing him down how would he fare fighting at Froch's pace.
Froch has great stamina, underrated skills, good ring generalship, awkward stance, all of which would give GGG a lot of trouble.

Not that long ago everyone was saying how Groves would beat everybody including Ward, now that he got KTFO he sucks and is worthless.
It couldn't be that Froch is just that good, but he is. People continue to underrate him over an over and what happens he keeps winning, because he is a warrior and should probably be P4P top 5.
GGG is very good and I see tons of talent and potential, but it is very presumptuous to think he would walk thru someone the caliber of Ward or Froch, I think Groves or Kessler would give him a ton of problems.
GGG has skills but we've seen him against rudimentary fighters who are not much more than pure brawlers, so of course he's going to look great but will he continue to look good against someone with a equal or better skillset than he possesses.
