I seriously cannot believe people are blaming Haye

3 to 4 times the money? Where are you plucking these figures from? And I don’t give a rat’s ass about the belts Wladimir holds. That’s not what warrants him a 50/50 split on the complete pot.

Yes, Haye’s made a UK household name for himself since entering the heavyweight division (by milking the Klitschko name, I may add!). But the method he’s used to make his name, has unfortunately cornered him into a corner with little room to manoeuvre. Constant failures to deliver his Klitschko promise and an abysmal 2010 which involved his embarrassing event with Harrison, has left Haye with very few cards to play. He can no longer milk the public with mismatched fights. He has no choice now but to deliver the only two fights the fans want to see – Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko. He needs them desperately if he wants to achieve something meaningful in his career. Because outside of the UK, Haye’s name is nothing. And even inside the UK, no other fight will generate the same interest unless it’s a Klitschko standing in the opposite corner. That’s a fact.

So despite the UK side of the split generating more money, Haye still needs the Klitschkos just as much as they need him. It’s a fight that warrants the 50-50 split they’ve agreed upon now.

You don't think he would be able to sell Haye vs Holyfield later in the year?

Solid, I'd honestly take them with a pinch of salt. Besides, the latest report on the Scene of Boxing, states it's Vitali who is the likely opponent for Adamek. Either way, it doesn't really matter, because Haye is the main priority for them. These rumours are just intending to make noise.

I seriously doubt Haye would even think about conning the public with that one. This would be worse than his nonsene with Audley.

To fight the Number 3 heavy weight!! It mite aswell be the number 2 because the other number two is his ****!ng tag team partner. If the deal in April couldn't work because of sky then surely the Chisora fight wont be on sky, so why not wait one more ****!ng month to have the unification fight the world has been waiting for.

There should be no problem with that as Haye had venues lined up in England for May and Wlad said he would fight Haye anywhere just to get him in the ring........OHHHHHH no he wont!! Germany only! Germany doctor Only! Red Corner only! More bull**** from ''The Champ''.

And what the **** is ''The Champ'' a 58 fight vet, doing fighting a 14 fight domestic level fighter who has no decent wins to date, who brings nothing to the table, when he could of waited one month and give the world what they wanted!

Wlad knows Haye must face his mandatory and its going to be after april because of the Kahn date, so May- June. How the **** is Haye supposed to fight Chagaev, rest, train and build up this superfight in 6 weeks.

Why is Wlad fighting Adamek September? Why not July 2nd if he want to keep active?

    Its really neither fighter's fault.

Haye would not have enough time from a May fight with Chagaev, and Wlad don't want to sit idle from Sept 2010 all the way to July 2011, and wait on Haye, who has a history of pulling out at the last minute.

I can see both sides. I don't think anyone is ducking, or intentionally avoiding this fight, given the timeframe and circumstances.

But what I do wonder, is why can't the station carrying the proposed fight (sky?), put it off til something like Aug or Sept, instead, so Wlad and Haye can both have time to prepare? Why does it HAVE to be July 2nd, when that date is not doable for one of the fighters (Haye)?

YOu'd think for a fight this big, they'd make whatever changes they had to, cause the income this fight will certianly generate will be well worth a mere date change of a month or two.

Without the belt Haye could be ranked 400th for all any one else cares, but the fact of the matter is he HAS the ****!ng belt.

If you even try and defend the Chisora fight you are not a fan of the sport, you are a nuthugger....this is as bad or worse than the Haye/Harrison fight.

I dont have a problem with the champ fighting the number 3 contender in a neutral venue...but seeing though he put out that nice little video saying how much he wants Haye, he will fight him in England or anywhere....then says no to a fight with Haye in England when the venues where there ready, and a guaranteed sell out, yet is proposed to be fighting Adamek in Poland in September:patsch What the ****!

They Hyped it a few months ago only because of the date matching Warrens 30th and Kahn v Maidana, frowing it all in one.

Both teams had July the 2nd booked in anyway before Wlad choose to fight Chisora oin April so if Haye's now saying he has to fight Chagaev in May you know Haye lies.

    Again.
