I was a former fighter, who after my boxing career, set a record, that may never be broken on Sept. 23,1937. I was very famous in what I did in boxing.
Who was I,and the record I set ?

Didn't Jack Sharkey once hold the fly-casting world record?

B,that is not the guy i have in mind. Sharkey and Ted Williams were avid
fly-casters though. My guy was famous for what he did one night in 1937...

Hmm... Sept 23, 1937 is the date of Mike Jacob's famous "Carnival of Champions" fight card. But did Jacobs actually box himself?

B, you got it half-way right. It was on Sept,23, 1937 in MSG, that Whitey
Bimstein seconded FOUR World CHAMPIONS in one night. They were-FRED APOSTOLI-marcel thil
    BARNEY ROSS- ceferino garcia
    LOU AMBERS- pedro montanez
    SIXTO ESCOBAR- harry jeffra
Bimstein seconded these 4 champs in one night.
B, my uncle was a juggler, who was able to juggle four worries at the same time. New world record.:hi:

Wow... I would never have guessed that! I was thinking, that it might be the fact that Arthur Donovan refereed 2 of the 4 title fights. I wonder, if anyone else has refereed 2 title fights on the same card?
