Holy ****!! get outta my head!! i was thinking the EXACT same thing today after reading what Dana said about Fedor. It makes me want to see Toney knock randy out (sorry randy) that way mabye we can say to Dana " See I told you Randy was overrated, he lost to a boxing hasbeen who was new to mma".

This is how bad i can't stand Dana dickhead White.

You are so mad that Dana said something about Fedor that you would have another MMA legend lose to James Toney? Really?

Dana is first and foremost a businessman, so if Toney wins, Dana will be able to set up a fight with an even higher ranked fighter and set up an even bigger PPV. Even if he has a sinister agenda right now, he'll happily raise Toney's arm in the octagon and proclaim him the greatest thing since sliced bread.

It's Fedor but mostly an accumulation...An accumulation of bull****...he's been doing this for years now. That guy can't really give a **** about the sport..he cares about the ufc brand first...not mma itself.

btw you think randy will take a huge hit ? (career wise)...he's 47 years old man...and has 10 losses..he's at a stage in his career where it wouldn't make a dramatic difference..

I understand what you mean. No, I don't think that Randy's legacy will necessarily take a huge hit but I wouldn't wish it on him either way. I am sure it would make a huge negative impact on him personally.

I wouldn't want him to go out like that. As you said he is 47, any fight could be his last.

I dont give a **** about Dana White either way everyones going to keep buying the PPVs. I cant see how any decent person would wanna see a foul mouthed, lazy, disrespectful and racist guy like James Toney beat a hard working guy whos full of class in Randy Couture.

Of course not. Boxing fans who hate MMA will go wild about how it proves boxing is superior to MMA. But Dana will still spin it in a way that's most favourable for him and his organization. i.e., setting up another big money PPV with another heavyweight. And he'll do it with a big smile on his face.

I agree, James is a threat in this fight, knocking out a 47 yr guy is very possible, Randy's chin is there for the taking. I just wouldn't be able to handle listening to Toney spout off. He needs more punches put down his throat to shut him up.

I have trouble believing Toney will develop decent enough takedown defense to stop Couture from taking him down. And there's no reason Randy shouldn't be able to do this right away.
If Couture chooses to stand with him, even if it's briefly, then it could get interesting. But why would Randy take that chance when it seems so unlikely Toney will be able to keep if off the ground?

Now that really is a good question. Probably Dana after thinking hard about it but Randy Couture losing to humble Dana White probably isnt the way to go.
