I smashed Jones in training - Evans

Poor Rashad. He's going to be ****ing humiliated and annihilated even worse than the Machida fight.

I'd love to see Rashad Liddell Bones, but he's going to get Machida'd.

 

Evans is easily the most intriguing fight out there. Hendo has the power, Machida has the slick standing skills but Jones is an all rounder. He seems to have very good wrestling with good unorthodox striking and the ability to submit you. Rampage, Hendo, Machida etc don't feel like they threaten him in multiple areas.

Evans on the other hand has power in his hands and he has gone back to his wrestling. He busted Ortiz up and hurt Rampage early. Everytime we see Evans he seems to be getting a little smarter, a little more experienced and a little better everywhere. The knees and kicks seem to be coming on and now that he is always using his wrestling base it makes the Evans Jones fight a MMA vs MMA rather than style vs style.

The training background must give Evans some insight and maybe confidence if what he says is true. The beef adds to it and for me its outshone every fight out there from the start.

Rashad is going to get his Glass Jaw shattered in brutal fashion. He struggled with Forrest Griffin's length and he is a slow, plodding, sloppy striker with no power whatsoever. Jones probably hurts him with a jab and finishes him against the cage with a barrage of knees and elbows.

 

I like Rashad, but big talk about training camp doesn't mean anything.

The last time he trained with Jon, Bones was 14 weeks into his pro career.

He was also a young fighter on the rise who was helping a championship-level fighter prepare for a main event. Bones' game is based on brutal striking, and I don't see him as a nobody trying to use his elbows and knees to beat up Rashad Evans in training camp.

Evans has a 50/50 chance of losing to Phil Davis anyway. He might never even get the chance to fight Jon Jones if Davis wins in spectacular fashion.

 

Not to mention the Jon Jones Rashad trained with was worlds behind the Jon Jones he'd have to fight.

 

Rashad beats Davis imo. He along with Machida have the best chance of defeating Jones though Bones would be a comfortable favourite
