prescott: taller/bigger, puncher, hungry, more experienced, colombian (known for causing upsets)

khan: poor chin, lack of defence (yet)

so why was this match made?

rubio was clapping as khan hit the canvas KD2 (look real close)

warren apparently has signed prescott, now a big name

rubio will train prescott after khan sacks him

warren now has 2 fighters he can build for a lucrative rematch

khan needs F warren know more than F warren needs him (to get rematch)

warren didn't look too displeased after the fight

    :think

I actually found it strange that Rubio came up with Prescott as an opponent for Khan....

Surely Rubio didn't suggest this guy. It was a moronic fight. You don't put Khan in with a fighter who is such an unknown quantity. He is a hungry, undefeated puncher. Dumb fight. Too much to lose and nothing to gain.

I boycotted it and never bought the joke. Thankfully it was only 54 seconds and easy to load and watch online after.

Perhaps Warren was covering all the bases. We all knew Khan was vulnerable so if the worst case scenario occurs and Khan gets knocked out Warren can promote the new guy too. There will still be interest in a Khan comeback and massive publicity would no doubt surround a rematch. It's just business. Warren must have known Khan was no Calzaghe or Hatton whom could be trusted to sweep aside such low rent opposition (possibly harsh on Prescott, he looks quite handy).

I don't know why people are seeking a conspiracy theory here. It's just boxing. Fighters with weak chins get knocked the **** out.

The whole media frenzy that surrounded Khan from his amateur days (they were screening amateur bouts on ITV like they were world title fights) is the sole reason this odd state of affairs came to be.

i'll say this again Bredis presscot is nothing more then a columbian club level fighter he was given a gift SD before he fought Khan theres nothing eye catching about this guy theres many other low profile fighters out there that would chew this guy up and spit him out.Why the **** would they want him for?

only time will tell. and you never judge a fighter on one fight especially when he got the job done. many ATG's wouldn't have made it going by that logic. what we know is he is young at 25, 20-0-18
