    someone predicted that Vic would win and that Mijares fans would say he didn't look like himself after the fight. Can't find that post unfortunately

    Nice predictions guys. Nice work making asses out of yourselves other guys. The lesson here is that fights cannot always be predicted by merely considering past form. There are always intangiblles to be brought into play that nobody knows how will pan out. So it's best not to act like you know everything because you're just setting yourself up to look like an idiot.

    :lol: That **** always happens. Their guy loses and they can never accept that he wasn't good enough. The excuses continue to get more creative.

    Look at this quote that was posted before the fight;

    Now of course, this same poster claims that Mijares underestimated Vic, was mentally unprepared, fought the wrong fight etc. Many are trying to claim the Mijares never recovered from the first KD. Bull****, he was perfectly fine after that KD, and was competitive in a couple of rounds after that. He simply couldn't avoid those left hands, and Vic's defense was better than expected. He didn't jab much because he couldn't find the target.

    Those who predicted Mijares to win but is not a die hard has moved on...only a few still believe that Mijares wasnt himself that night. I think it was Vic who wasnt himself that night. He was fighting a perfect fight. He had good defense, extra fast offense, using his jab and extra confidence. Mijares was the same, Vic was just overwhelming, and Mijares couldnt do anything bout it. One of Vic's most dominant win.

    I'm no Mijares fan, and I ate my slice of humble pie for picking him to win by decision. I think Mijares wasn't himself that night, and the reason for that was Darchinyan. ;)
