Remeber the threads about how Degale could beat Andre Dirrell right now, and the threads about how he could be the best boxer Britain had ever produced?:D

Im going on record to state that Frankie Gavin will never come close to world level at 140 or 147.

Yes, ****ing ridiculous. And you know me, constantly accused of being purposefully unbiased against Irish fighters, but I can still call it as I see it, and the British are just as bad, if not worse than the Irish, the Cubans, the Mexicans, anybody.

Munroe could beat Nishioka? DeGale world class? Gavin best natural talent this side of the Atlantic? **** off.

Gavin having the best natural talent isn't a huge shout IMO. That doesn't mean he's going to achieve the most, only that he has natural gifts. Which he does, his movements are ghost like, very natural reactions. Lomachenko is more talented but he's still in the amateurs.

Gavin has a massive amount of talent but he wont reach his potential if he comes in that type of shape when it counts.

No disrespect to Woodhouse but Gavin will coast to an easy win regardless.
But when he steps up he will struggle big time if this is how he is going to prepare himself.

He belongs at 140lbs, its clear to me that he could lose 7lbs easy from that weigh in photo, kinda fleshy compared to his usual.

Yeah I would have no problem admitting that the irish fans are biased, if the the lads on the Brit forum would admit that they were just as equally biased towards their own. I saw it just recently when Martinez got a slagging because the Lee fight was discussed, and it was rightly called a bad fight by the posters on here. But when Barker signed to fight Martinez it was a good fight and Barker got props for taking the fight.

In saying that I have to admit there are of course a lot of sensible and realistic posters on this forum, who often dont let national bias cloud their views.

The fact he has talent in abundance isn't in question, he clearly does possess plenty of it. The most? No.

Jpab off topic but last year if Gonzalez and Joyi fought who do you think would have won? Joyi is good but he was bothered to the body by the Mexican he took the title off ( cant remember his name ) i think Gonzalez would have got him out of there. You ever seen Carlos Buitrago ( sp? )

    ;)

There are a lot of course. It's just a bit rich coming from some if you know what I mean? Saying the possibility of Macklin/Lee beating Barker is insane, before then saying Munroe could beat Nishioka or Hatton could beat Alvarez is, well, y'know.
