No he does not you stupid idiot. Glovkin had just one IBF fight in his whole career , so how does he fight 'IBF sanctioned fights' ?

I never heard anything about that rule. How can they enforce such nonsense if a guy holds and defends other belts. Show me proof. Show me Golovkin's official fight night weight??

Quite simply if he is "not a middleweight" despite coming to the ring as a full blown light heavy, the fraud needs to stop pretending he's a middleweight champion, leave the belt for the genuine middleweights to contest and go back to 154 with his tail between his legs.

"There shall be a second weigh-in between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on the morning of the event, unless otherwise approved by the IBF/USBA.. At this weigh-in, boxers cannot weigh more than ten (10) pounds over the weight limit. If a boxer weighs more than ten (10) pounds over the weight limit, he will have two (2) hours thereafter to make the prescribed weight. If after two (2) hours he still weighs more than ten (10) pounds over the weight limit, the fight can proceed only as described below."

Agreed. I have no problem with catchweights to make big fights. But when a fighter holds The lineal title, fight at the weight limit or drop the belt. Its quite simple.

It's been in place since at the very least 2011. I seem to recall Amir Khan having trouble with it, I think vs Judah.
Tbh it's a bs rule in practice though. There's a stipulation that they can just strip the champ and make the fight officially for the vacant title.

He never left, unless you take the WBC and The Ring rankings and the f****ing weight limits into consideration.

Yeah, even more so when numerous ''But I'm not a Middleweight'' Middleweight champions have been holding the belt hostage one after the other. When was the last time the WBC MW title was defended at the full MW limit? :think

Is it Sergio vs Murray? If so that's a month shy of 3 years ago.

The guy hasn't weighed in within the light middleweight limit since Mayweather. He is now walking round calling himself a middleweight world champion despite refusing to actually fight at the weight. It's s--- or get off the pot time!!!

Thats because you're too dumb and lazy to actually look up sanctioning body rules. Which probably explains why you support Canelo in the first place

"There shall be a second weigh-in between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on the morning of the event, unless otherwise approved by the IBF/USBA.. At this weigh-in,boxers cannot weigh more than ten (10) pounds over the weight limit. If a boxer weighs more than ten (10)pounds over the weight limit, he will have two (2) hours thereafter to make the prescribed weight"

Google "IBF rules" Literally the first link.

Wade is his IBF mandatory. It's under these rules. Deal with it.
