    In as much as history repeats its self I guess. :lol:

    Damned, could a swore I saw Ali on TV in my younger days. I know I saw him against Shavers, cuz Ernie was a fixture in Youngstown at the time because he was training at Don King's place in Orwell. Ernie probably still owes gym fees to Don on that deal. :-(

    Man, you are an old timer. :D

    One of my earliest TV boxing memories was doing chores all week so my parents would order Leonard vs Duran III PPV for me in 1989. Ended up being a little too one sided and boring for my liking and I remember being pissed off. :twisted:

    Maybe if the CBS fell through they are seriously considering announcing they couldn't get a suitable opponent for the date and moving it? TR is off to a strong start with the press tour. Putting on an 'also ran' out of spite doesn't make much sense and hurts Canelo's brand.

    He'll need to pull a Shane Mosley and lift weights if he even has a shot at making this competitive. Canelo is soon to be a Middleweight.
