I spoke to Kermit tonight to ask him about what happened...

    We were up in the suites having an afterpraty with the whole Williams crew, and I went downstairs to bring someone up, and I ran into Kermit's wife. She was cool about everything, although she gave me a little **** outside of the locker rooms about how she felt Kermit should have won. It's cool. We actually shared a couple of laughs afterwards.

    Then I saw Kermit giving a tough interview with some skeptical reporters about the slip/jump. He was pretty cool about things, and I really believe he slipped.

    I went up to him and just told him I hope he's doing OK. And he said he was fine, but the doctors saod they were not going to let him continue. Then he asked me... "I know Paul's your boy and all, but how did you have the fight scored?" I told him it could have been 2-2, or 3-1 either way, and he though it could have been fair either way. He said he really wants to do it again because he has never felt better with his performance.

    As far as the slip, he said he got tangled up with Paul's legs, and just freaked out as he was going toward the ropes. He said he wasn't badly injured, but the decision was taken out of his for control by the doctors.
