I spoke to Kermit tonight to ask him about what happened...

Agreed all around.

Cintron was arguably winning the fight and really hadn't been hit with anything significant in the entire fight. Prior to folding to Margarito in their first match and being taken out by a body punch in the rematch, he took a pretty decent beating before going away. Yet last night in a fairly nondescript fight, absorbing minimal punishment against Williams, he decides to jump out the ring? That makes no sense. I mean seriously...who the **** in their right mind would jump out of the ring on to a table and eventually land on the floor?

I think it's pretty clear in the second angle of the replay, that Cintron tripped over Williams' left hook, and that coupled with his own momentum sent him out of the ring.


On another note...NBA's grin is almost as consistent as Leonard Ellerbe's. On every picture, it's the same look...

Gotta admire the straightforward attack.

 

Just analyzed that "fall" out the ring again and you can clearly see that Cintron rolled on top of the table with his shoulder and back!!!

The point I'm making is that the "injury" that he's claiming is not consistant with what could have possibly happened!!

If he had flew over the top rope and landed on his back then I could have believed he got the wind knocked out of him but him rolling on the table IMHO can't knock the wind out of him!!!

To be fair I'll say it should have been score 2-2. In the 3rd round PW was stepping it up and out landed Cintron 11-6 and in the 4th round PW was right in his rythm and was out landing Cintron and hit him with a couple good shots!

I think the judge who scored all 4 rounds for Cintron was looking at the fact that PW was not aggressive like he usually is, but for the any judge to give Cintron the 4th round is BullSh*t!!

 

Kermit took a bad fall, but the only reason he landed out of the ring was cos he didnt wanna land on a rope.
The shock must have got to him more than anything else.
