It's a pretty good exuse, don't you think? What's the incentive for Pacquiao or Mayweather to fight Williams? Williams needs to create an incentive for these guys to fight him and he hasn't. He never will unless he fights at 147 or unless he becomes a big draw.

You are right to an extent. I just think if he lurks around 154, where he can get good work, he will make more of a name for himself. Then if the opportunity presents itself, and someone can't get a fight signed, he may get the big opportunity.

It doesn't have to be just Floyd or Pac. I think he would settle for Shane, Cotto, or someone of that caliber for now. I'm hoping it will be one of those guys (hopefully Shane) in September.

NBA you could be on HBO! Well done. Paul is the best welterweight on earth right now and one of the best ever. PERIOD. He's too good for his own good and phloyd and Pac will never go near him (though Pac would but ARum won't let it happen). NBA hope you can do more of thse with Paul Petey Williams.

    Why is he called Petey?

and if I may ask, when the hell is Al Haymon gonna get him a BIG Fight that he deserves?

    Solid interview, NBA.

Any idea about what Paul's feelings are regarding Goosson's inability to land him marquee fights? Has he ever considered a promotional change?

    Nice work man.

Man that is why these belts get laughed at. They need to force some of these guys to defend or vacate. I would like to see him bang at 147. I wish he had never left.

:lol::lol: I thought The Hawks would atleast win 1 game but not a sweep. And for Joe Johnson comments? That tells me he ain't playing with The Hawks next season.

I think Mosley stops PWill right now too, esp at 147.

Hope they make that fight happen.

I think he shoot himself in the foot with that comment...They played like they were defeated in the in the first half...Johnson didnt help out in anyway, he took the easy road out IMO!:-(

Johnson is going to probably test the Free Agency pool.
