Roy was finito...no legs, no motivation. He fought that on pure heart. Floyd is still Floyd...and not so easy to hit.
Hoya does have a great jab when he uses it, Hatton's is nonexistent and his reach is nowhere. Shane has the handspeed and reach to initiate the action and land first. On the inside that shoulder roll **** is cool but Shane has a mean body game. Looks close to me to really pick either man, but based on competition and the way they handled them I'm gonna pick Shane. Hatton won about 3 rounds and he did break him down, and Floyd showed he could win against someone very strong willed in the higher weights.
He might land the harder blows being that he is the harder puncher, but if he's off target on most, or hitting the shoulder, it still won't look to good to the judges.
The thing is the older Shane is a bit more composed than he was earlier on. I think it came from those early losses when he was on top and fell hard. He pulled through late against alot of guys recently, even Marg put on some heavy pressure. I see the mental and physical holding up for both guys, the question is can Shane land frequently enough to make a dent.
He is more wise...I just want to see which Shane will show up...the bad looking one that caught Mayorga, or the Great looking one who dominated Margo...with that said, Floyd is way above those two guys.
Floyd will run away for like 5 rounds and then 40 yr old Shane will get tired and Floyd will potshot him to death.
Shane has shown different sides, but 154 was a bad move for Shanes stature... He was bulked down and slower at the weight. Floyd is definitely better than those guys in his ability, and the styles will be totally different to try and compare.
