I still believe Cotto would dismantle Mayweather.

I can not believe how anyone thinks Cotto is an easy win for anybody. First, he is not slow by any definition of the word. Secondly, timing is more important than speed. He was able to out box Shane fairly easily. I mean Shane was beat to the punch the whole fight. I Cotto has the best chance to beat Floyd and that includes Shane. Oscar was able to outbox Shane in that second fight **** what the judges saw. Cotto has not been outboxed yet, he was pressured into quitting, but that is not Mayweather's style.

I'd still give the edge to Floyd. Cotto has shown a tendecy to tire in the late rounds.

Theres nothing on his resume that suggests such a thing. Beating Corrales when you couldnt make weight dont count for ****.

And saying that Castillo is a better fighter is just as ridiculous.

Cotto is a very good brawler, but he doesn't know how to address the speed and movement he'll face with Floyd. If anyone want to see as close to a preview of how a Cotto vs Floyd fight would go .... Warch the Bruseles Vs Mayweather fight.

Bruseles copied Cotto's style and spars with Cotto often.

Needles to say Floyd dismantled Bruseles with ease. Now I'm not saying that Cotto will be a pushover ... But Floyd will be at his very best for Cotto. And I have yet to see a fighter face Floyd when he's at his best and not have serious issues dealing with him.

Floyd by UD .... Bet the house!!!!!

You cant be serious???:patsch Nobody will ever dismantle Mayweather, NOBODY!! Anybody with any boxing knownledge would know this, so you dont know what the hell your talking about. Cotto would have a chance but he cant be Mayweather. If Margaritos slow ass can land 4 punch combos on Cotto then its gonna be batting practice for Mayweather. He did retire the most accurate boxer in the sport, that with speed= Cotto Ass Whooping!!!

Calling Cotto a brawler is quite ridiculous. Clearly, you havent seen many of his fights. Then to make it worse, you compare him to Bruseles. How long have you been watching boxing? And exactly how many cotto fights have you seen exactly?

How will Cotto hit Floyd in the body when he never did it against Margarito? He better learn how to have an actual game plan or he won't get past Clottey, let-a-lone Floyd.

Cotto is a very accurate puncher and has good speed, he'll be giving Floyd alot of trouble in this fight.

No way it's a blowout like some people say.

Margarito tucked in his elbows and had enough power to get Cotto to reluctantly leave the body attack...I'm not sure Floyd has the same power.

you dont have to be a "nuthugger" to understand boxing.

you said it yourself - its floyd's defence and handspeed that will win the day. but its his counterpunching against cotto that will tell also.

cotto's not a hard fighter to hit, he's just a bully if he's allowed to be.

Look this isnt a hard fight to call, Mayweathers speed, acuracy, and defense is just to much for Cotto. Pacquiao has a way better shot then Cotto

Floyd will not land combination's on Cotto he will be on the retreat for most of the fight, Mayweather will not throw enough punches to keep Cotto at bay he will potshot and circle and try to pick cotto off coming in, Mayweather's punches will have little effect on Cotto he just does not have the power at 147, All of Mayweather's attributes can be offset, he is not untouchable, your fantasy like opinion's of him are laughable.

Margarito's success had more to do with what Cotto didn't do. Plaster or not, Cotto fought a horrible technical fight. Let's see what happens with Clottey.

Cotto not going to just run him over. Floyd is not a huge puncher at 147 but he can unload on Cotto enough to keep him honest. Cotto may not get past Clottey though. That's a tough fight.
