I still believe Cotto would dismantle Mayweather.

Cottos got a good shot at winning this, hed walk thru Floyds punches and dont be telling me no because Floyd hit Chico with at least 100 power punches to the head and he couldnt put him out cold and that Floyds power weight. Same with Floyd vs. Hatton, 100 power punches to Hattons weak chin and he managed to put him out very very late.

Cotto also has a very good jab when he uses it and has quick enough hands to steal some rounds. I still believe Floyd takes this if the fight is at center ring. Cotto has to exploit the body and use his strength advantage.

 

I am not a big Floyd Mayweather fan because he does not take on the tough challenges. But I do think he has great skill. Cotto would not beat him. If Mayweather had the guts to fight Cotto I think his speed would get him a 12 round unanimous decision. Mayweather would be a little too fast.

As much as id love this fight to happen it never will,Mayweather would win by UD a close one though Cotto has a strength advantage and underated boxing skill which will give Floyd Problems early but he will adjust and then take the fight.Also many say Mayweather ducked Cotto But on ESPN a year ago Floyd said he would fight Cotto but when Cotto is asked about the fight all he ever says is "its up to my promoter" Hes never called Floyd out Both Marquez and Hatton called Mayweather out and we have seen both fights made.
