I still believe Cotto would dismantle Mayweather.

The only way he would is if he was armed with a baseball bat and Floyd wasn't looking.

In all reality, I think Mayweather would win a very close and air tight UD that may even be called a robbery.

But it'll be one helluva fight for both men.

It would end either by KO for Cotto or UD for Mayweather...nothing else.

He would be outboxed and stopped late :deal

People have issues with Mayweather because of his annoying personality, and with good reason, but they let it cloud their judgement of him as a fighter.

cotto aint dismantling ****. He's a good fighter but fundamentally very flawed and i dont see the speed everyone sees i just rewatched the jennings fight he didnt look to have even above average speed. Plus his footwork aint too hot he has a tendency to plot. Put that together with his below average defense susceptibility to right hands and below average stamina you have the most overrated fighter on these boards and en easy mayweather victory

I wonder why no one else in the division has come close to becoming the man of 147 besides Mosley who did it years ago.

As much as I hate to say it ..... But Zab Judah was the linear Champ at WW. And that's how Baldomir got the belts.

And who did Judah beat to become that champion? Spinks, the same Spinks all the Floyd haters say he ducked.

Some key errors in your post.
First Cotto doesn't have the chin that JLC had.
Two Cotto doesn't cut off the ring like JLC did.
Three Cotto doesn't hit as hard as JLC did
Four Cotto isn't as smart as JLC was his refusing to clinch is an example of this and abandoning his gameplan
Five JLC was better body puncher as well
Six JLC was a better inside fighter
    Seven JLC had better stamina.
