    I don't believe it..Fedor lost...damn.....
    Fedor, the invincible man...
    THE GOAT...
even if ali, srr, srl etc etc all lost, its bogging me..

Believe it or not, I had trouble sleeping last night I was always thinking about that fight.

The only thing is, im happy thats werdum who did it and not a steroid freak like overeem or lesnar etc etc....

Werdum beat him with his skill.

I still consider Fedor the number 1 heavyweight for now, he will beat him in a rematch.

I think at this point in my life im no longer suprised even if it is Fedor losing. I was watching when Tarver KOed RJJ and Serra upset GSP and countless others after about 2008 or so I really just started to expect the unexpected.

I don't know.. I'm still learning about this sport but.. A submission loss like this doesn't seem like that big of a deal to me. It's only a submission in my eyes.

A lot of fans are acting like it's the end of the world and Fedor is shot.. But not much happened before he found himself in that position.

Shogun's fight with Forrest was a far worse way to go out rather than getting caught in a lock in the first minute. We all remember how people many people turned their back on Shogun after losing to Forrest..

I know that this is a big deal but.. It seems like more of a fluke than anything. It's not like Fedor was losing the fight before he got submitted.

The man will come back and this could have been the best thing that happened to him. I don't think of him as any less of a fighter. It's not like he got the hell beat out of him before being submitted.

Nice post. Like the op I have been kicking this around since last night. Fedor is still my favorite fighter and he is still the best ever. The man actually went up in eyes.

Why you gotta bring Vera up when we are talking about Munoz? Vera already stated that he would have submitted Jones til that lucky elbow.

I was fighting in a competition with a guy with one hand, ( I didn't know that at the time, I only found out when I was in his guard) I thought to myself "wow this guy only has one hand, and I wondered if I "should be nice to him" by the time I had thought that I was in a triangle and it was over, I managed to passout from the choke I I was so surprised he had 1 hand I got caught and even forgot to tap.
bottom line is everyone looses, its a miracle Fedor has gone so long without loosing, but everyone makes mistakes, even the great man himself.

To me it seemed Fedor was too anxious and overconfident at the same time. He got lucky that his strength got him free of the arm bar and then to go back into Werdum's guard was madness. I think this will take a lot of pressure off Fedor. He was seen as an invincible force who never loses and I think he started to believe and try to live up to his press clippings. Now, he has been humbled and can just concentrate on training and preparing a sensible strategy for his next fights. He will wipe out Werdum and all the rest if he just respects them.
