Well when the guy posts it on his official site, of course people take it seriously. Don't be that guy.

 

If he announces Khan as the opponent you will say that he is ducking the clear better victory to achieve in not facing Maidana.

It's funny. All the usual suspects were saying Floyd was afraid of Maidana and that he was fighting a cupcake in Khan until about 10 days ago the heavy rumors leaked which shifted toward Maidana being the favorite to face him. And then damage control began. And the damage control, once again, makes you guys look pretty damn dumb.

 

If you take what all boxers, trainers, and promoters say at their word, you will have a very awkward experience as a fan of the sport.

 

Showtime must be furious at him for leaving it this long. It gives them just a little over two months to promote a fight that Floyd is walking away with a Guaranteed 40 mil from, and no real viable PPV star to match him against.

 

Funny coming from the guy who has swallowed every bit of Floyd's propaganda with a slurp and a smile.

I knew the poll was a joke from the beginning. It's a way to drum up interest and get people talking. There's no such thing as bad publicity. I honestly thought the voting was going to be rigged in favor of who he'd rather fight. Either way, if you took it seriously then maybe you need to smarten up. You guys all call Mayweather a liar, but still believe everything he says and does. I don't get it.

 

I don't care what he says. I don't care about polls and all this other crap. I'm not 16. I have a life. So I don't really care if he's a liar or not. It doesn't effect my life one bit. I care when he has a fight signed and that's it. I enjoy watching him fight.

But I do know for a fact he doesn't care about whether you think he's a liar or not. So hate all you want and call him a liar thinking that people actually care about your opinion. No one does. Get over it.
