i still belive that cotto can beat |PBF. styles make fights. dont forget the size advantage that marg had on him. it was like a welterweight bowe v holyfield or frazier v foreman Foreman beat frazier and norton who both beat Ali who schooled foreman I think that marg is too slow a starter to beat PBF but i believe that PBF will duck him
think PBF will be regretting not fighting cotto when he was unbeaten and seen as being extremely hard to beat, would have been a huge ppv and generated so many column inches - much more feverish than margo Vs cotto. now pbf has to come back and fight margarito, which wasn't so loudly called for before this fight, and i think pbf would have a much harder job to decision margo [no way would he ko him!]. pbf would have cemented his reputation by fighting and beating cotto All that being said, I don; t think there would be many people who having seen that fight would still have picked cotto over mayweather, it seems clear that pbf would have punished cotto over and over again, not by tko stoppage but by clear points decision.
PBF would easily defeat Cotto. And I say that as someone who can't stand Floyd. Floyd is too fast, too elusive, too conditioned and too accurate for Cotto. The qualities that Cotto has, Floyd has to a greater degree. Cotto would certainly have his moments, but he is not big or rough enough to bully Floyd and Floyd would give him a boxing lesson.
