to make it realistic he should have committed more crimes then just stole a bar of soap and doing some kimbo street fights...of course i guess they never really showed how he got the gold chain he sold.
That was bloody awesome Its strange nowdays that you have so many white-collar, upper middle class people enamored with sports like MMA. But you talk the fighters, a lot of these guys are bottom of the barrel, fighting just to pay the bills, can barely support themselves. Fighters come from the bottom, and they fight their way up
Obviously the necklace was his only valuable possession. So he made a big decision to sell it just to have a chance to fight.
Nicely done but I don't like it. It suggests that for boxing success you only have to become homeless and desperate and determination will make you a good fighter... or from a different perspective, with all these mismatches on TV, some might this think is the usual bum that always gets blown out, a couple of hours in the gym to show up for the money. Also, I don't like the street fight part, this is a ****ing sport not stupid gang brawl.
It's amazing how SOOOOO MANY people can look at something, yet all will have a different prespective and/or view on what the "moral" of a story/video/film was...or meant to convey. Normally their opinions are mostly based on their own social economic status or how they view others in a particular social economic status or environment. Everyone is going on & on about being homeless, crime, street fighting, wonder how could a homeless man own an expensive piece of jewelery....It all just shows the limits and boundaries in people's brain-power. Although there were Boxing Gloves and a ring in this video...to anyone with the ability to use critical thinking and have a creative thought process...This was about FAR MORE THAN BOXING....This Video Simply Says: WITH HARD WORK, DEDICATION & SACRIFICE, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!!!
