I think Hopkins from a few years ago when he first moved up to light heavyweight has a decent shot of pulling it off..... but a prime Hopkins was a middleweight so there's no telling what would happen there.
no ****. Hopkins in his prime would win 12-0. are people forgetting that Hopkins' peak was at least a decade ago? jesus christ. this Dawson has nothing on him.
No Hopkins only looks good against people who don't box well ..I mean look at the guys he lost too : Jones Jr Taylor Calzaghe Dawson All boxers who out worked him ..No version of Hopkins beats these guys based on workrate ..
****** hell about watching the jones, taylor and cal fights he struggles with dudes with fast hands, workrate and good movement
All past his prime as well. All past his ability to out-work a fighter. You can't tell me that Hopkins that fought Tito or especially before...like I mentioned before...his fight with Glen Johnson...had the same work-rate as the Hopkins that fought Taylor, Calzaghe and Dawson. what 90 year old has the same work-rate as he had when he was in his 20's, early 30's? As far as Jones...we are talking about the most freakish athlete boxing has ever seen in his prime. If we compare Hopkins of the younger years compared to later yeas, even in victory, its easy to see the difference.
