Also, Whitaker was involved in multiple fun fights; like McGirt x2, Hurtado, Roger Mayweather, Lomeli, etc. OP should really start watching fighters become commenting on them.
And I raise you Robinson, Ali, Foreman, Hagler, Hearns, Monzon, Dempsey, Armstrong, morales, Barrera, Jones, Duran, Pacquiao, Frazier, Lamotta, etc. Profesional boxing has been dominated by offensive fighters throughout history. Most great fighter inflict damage.
A skillful fighter is undeniable, you can't deny or dispute Pea's skills or PBF's. Exciting however can be debated.
Benitez, Mayweather Jr., Miguel Canto, Charley Burley, Holman Williams, Harold Johnson, Hopkins, etc. are right at home with the other fighters mentioned. Room enough for all styles. (RJJ and Monzon were both criticized for boring, one paced performances at points, incidentally. And Ali was criticized for "running" throughout much of his early career.)
You talk like if being exciting is not compatible with being a technician. And that cant be further from truth.
You mean to tell me that Floyd doesn't have enough power to hurt people? Nonsense he's a pro boxer and world champ. He has enough power to seriously hurt people. He's just too much of a puzzy to take the chances needed to hurt someone.
