I'm fully aware that fans enjoy discussing potentially exciting matchups and their possible outcomes, but I think when these fights have very little chance of occurring a reality check is needed.

This fight is not happening, he is so far off Haye's radar it's farcical that people think this will occur. Haye wants to fight the Klitschko's (if the deal is right) if this is not possible he will simply take the highest reward/lowest risk fights available.

Haye reputedly earned £4m for Valuev fight 7 times what he was due for wlad fight. He has now virtually sold out 20k arena for Ruiz of all people. How many people are coming to see Ruiz? He doesnt need great fights to sell PPV or tickets because he now transcends the sport in Britain.

If Adamek beats Arreola he needs to take his Klitschko beating/cashout and then retire or go back to CW because Haye is not happening. I suppose he could become Haye's mandatory and then wait for his shot how long would this take 2/3 years, and theres no guarantee Haye would be champion.

If Adamek HW masterplan is to get a HW title shot against a fighter who is a very small heavyweight then the plan is massively flawed, especially when the titlist in question has little pressure to fight Adamek. Haye could ignore Adamek for 2/3 years and receive zero criticism from british public who will be paying his wages in next few years.

As for this theory that it's a massive fight because so many poles live in Britain. They came to britain to earn money not spend it and are mainly young guys. If they buy the PPV there will be 20 of them squeezed into a lounge paying £15 between them not too great for PPV.

If it was in a football stadium and it sold as suggested in earlier posts then 50k English and 20k Polish attending a highly charged sporting event where 1 set of fans will inevitably be dissapointed is a headache the promoters could do without.

Finally Adamek is a high quality fighter who is smaller than Haye. If Haye fights him it's a terrible risk to his giantkiller reputation that is now so often mentioned in the mainstream press. It would be more harmful to his reputation to lose to Adamek than if he lost to some big lump with 10% of Adameks talent.

Haye had his chance with the Klitschkos but we all know what happened there. The fight between Adamek and Haye should happen even if the Polish population in UK is zero, providing Adamek beats Arreola. And I don't see how Adamek is smaller than Haye.

Adamek has a large following in places of polish heritage, like Chicago and North Jersey. A fight with David Haye in Madison Square or in Germany would sell out in a matter of hours.
