Yeah well Tyson couldnt KO Tucker or Bonecrusher. I'm tired of hearing crap like this. How bout Tex Cobb vs Holmes. Even prime greats can't KO bums

^ Tucker/Bonerusher are the 20x the fighter Johnson is. In fact their better then any opposition Vitali has faced except Lennox.

Hell we could have Ottke on top of the hwts. A guy who runs and wins robberies. i cant wait for the klitschkos to retire then we get to see sam peter and other bums fight for the title. Would about Johnson what did he do to win. Once he finally opened up he got hit more. It is hard to hit a turtle in their shell

It was Johnson's fault 100% that the fight sucked. Vitali came with pretty much the same style he has always had. It was all Johnson's fault. . .as for Tyson. . .he was Koed by Williams and McBride, who are a step below Kingpin.

Tyson in his prime . . . yes. But the Tyson now . . . NO!

Tyson is mentally wrecked . . . he cannot compete anymore.

:patsch Both guys were 20 X better than Johnson, in fact if Tuker had s head on straight he could've been something special.

Your delusional if you think a trained Tyson in 2009 who is age 43 and slower than Molasses could beat Kevin Johnson of last night............... Johnson was beat by V.K. cuz Klit is huge, skilled, well-tuned and the champ............. Tyson has none of these traits anymore........... Kevin Johnson at 242 pounds last night was in great shape, but over-matched against Vitali Klit....... Johnson at 242 lbs. and 6' 4" tall with his snappy jab would slice and dice a trained 2009 version of Tyson to death in a 10 rounder.....

Tyson would perhaps still be a threat for maybe 1 to 3 rds against Johnson today...... After round 3, if Tyson hadn't gotten off with any wicked shots on Johnson, Tyson would gas and go into survival mode himself......... C'mon, K.J. boxes Tyson's ears off in 2009.............

Give Tyson 2 months to train and he would still get beat by Cliff Couser.

Is this a wind-up or do you really not understand what defense is?

Kevin Johnson put on a brilliant defensive clinic...however, it was brilliant defense ad nauseum, complemented by virtually NO offense and resulting in a very unsatisfying viewing experience and kind of a waste of a title defense for Vitali.

Tyson fifteen years ago might not have been able to KO Johnson. :nono

I love James Smith, but he's about 5% as talented (in terms of pure boxing) as Johnson. He had 20x more heart. :good And obviously packed quite a pit more punch.

Yeah, well, as the cliche says, styles make fights. Tyson, a converted southpaw, would've loved to see Johnson's defensive posture against the ropes and would've gotten inside quickly and unleashed a couple of those left hook/uppercut punches and enjoyed an early night. Vitali doesn't have that punch in his arsenal and fights outside anyway. Who cares.
