    Thats me told.

Incidentaly, dosnt this fight lead you to thin k that Valuev would have fared badly against the best fighters of the 90s such as Tyson, Holyfield, Bowe, Lewis or even sombody like Golotta?

Um, did ANYONE give him a chance against Tyson, Holyfield, Bowe and Lewis, ever?

People are pretending asif Joe Louis has just fallen. Valuev is just a contender, no more no less.

Jimmy Young would win 12 rounds with just a jab to the stomach, which would be the only scoring punch... And lose the decision.

Vitali would stop Valuev on the basis of last night's performance. It's the first time I've seen the guy fight and other than his size there was nothing world class about him at all. I've a feeling that it's gonna take a helluva deal to get Valuev's handlers to accept a fight from either Klitshcko.

It might not take as much persuasion as you may think, given that after last night's performance, it may be the only decent paying opportunity he'll ever get again ( assuming he gets an offer ). I can't see why anyone would ever want to pay good money to see him fight again, and what's worse, the general forum is already screaming for a Holyfield rematch.....Yuck......

Valuev is at best 5th best of the new Eastern Euro heavies. Wlad, Vitlai, Chagaev, and Ibragimov are better, and if you ask me so is Dimitrenko.

Valuev remains super durable, huge, mildly skilled, and boring.

I would not fancy valuev over many X ring magazine champs. In fact, Valuev isn't very good by alphabet champion status either.

Quick Tillis at his best would box circles around Valuev. Valuev has a jab and that's it.

Maybe so, but would it be enough to win a decision in Valuev's backyard?

I don't know if I'd go as far as to say that Valuev would lose to James " Quick " Tillis, but the notion certainly isn't impossible. I definately think that many of the alpha champions of the 1980's such as Witherspoon, Tubbs, Thomas, Dokes and a few others would have won comfortable decisions over the Russian Giant. Holmes would have beaten the living **** out of him, but that's stating the obvious.

I don't know if Jesus Christ Almighty could win a decision in Valuev's backyard. They'd have to fight in heaven for the son of God to have a chance.
